Lately, My mind has been getting bombarded with inspiring ideas & goals I want to try and reach during this summer. I've been keeping a notebook my mom gave me to stay on track and manage my time so I can get as much done as possible! A few goals I have written down so far are:
- Draw more often; even if its something small.
- Read at least three books
- Blog,blog,&blog! Work harder on this blog
- Get a drawing in Nylon...HA I'm dreamin' big now but I can dream.
- Complete my pair of ripped/patched jeans for the fall & ALSOO....
One of my latest project ideas...
I mentioned a few posts back that I got a cute denim jacket from a thrift shop in my town for 4 dollars! Well, I decided that I have enough long sleeved denim jackets so I cut off the sleeves to make it into a vest. It's cute and all but I still want to customize it a little more to make it my own, so I've been thinking about drawing something on the back..something kind of sinister,scary, yet beautiful.
I want the artwork on the back of the jacket to have to have a look similar to these artists:
